Child advocacy firm is seeking attorney/LGAL. This is a contract attorney position. The attorney will be responsible for representing children at all stages of child welfare proceedings in the Third Circuit Court. This is a hybrid position with the majority of hearings held remotely.The position requires regular court appearances and frequent client contact. Representation includes client interviews, conferring with social workers, opposing counsel and other service providers, appearing at all court hearings, preparing witnesses for trial, participating in meetings outside of the court and advocating for the client's best interest. The position requires that the attorney be able to work independently. Experience preferred.
