Description:

General civil litigation practice based in D.C. and Maryland is seeking an attorney barred in Maryland, DC, and Virginia to assist the Firm in handling cases on a contract basis. Attorney must be barred in either Maryland or DC. Virginia is an added bonus.

This would be a great opportunity for an attorney who is currently looking to supplement their current income with occasional casework.

Desired candidate will possess:

Minimum four years' experience in the areas of civil and/or personal injury litigation. If you do not possess the requisite years of experience, we still encourage you to apply.
Bar admission in either Maryland or District of Columbia mandatory. Virginia admission is desirable.
Flexibility to work on cases as needed
Experience drafting motions and pleadings; conducting legal research; and preparing and responding to discovery.
Courtroom Experience is mandatory.

Dual admission to DC and Maryland is desirable but not required.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $85.00 per hour
