The Irving Law Firm is a busy Northern Virginia law firm, in search of an experienced Business and Civil Litigation attorney. The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of experience in this field and is equally comfortable litigating in the courtroom and negotiating in the boardroom. Take your career to the next level - we are looking for someone who wants discretion in how they approach their case management, is eager to be in court regularly, and understands how to interact with high level executive clientele. A book of business is a plus, but confidence and experience is our priority for this position.We offer a generous compensation package including competitive pay, time off, paid CLEs and insurance, healthcare, and retirement contributions. The published salary range for this position may adjust upward for a candidate bringing a substantial book of business.
We have fully staffed offices in Arlington and Manassas - the ideal candidate may select their preference between these locations. Some travel within Northern Virginia may be required for court appearances.
Our Civil Team attorneys, including the Division Lead, will provide continuous training, mentorship, and support. While we encourage independence in our attorneys, we always work together as a team to provide support and allow everyone to operate efficiently and effectively. Bar Requirements: Virginia Bar Required.
Languages: Fluency in other language a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Litigate cases in court on behalf of clients
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Advise clients on legal matters and provide guidance on potential outcomes
- Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure effective case management
