Job Description:
As an attorney at Education Lawyers, you will play a pivotal role in advising educators on a variety of issues spanning the public school system. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting legal research and drafting memoranda
- Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations to ensure legal compliance
- Preparing and editing legal documents and correspondence
- Interacting with clients on a daily basis
- Reviewing and analyzing school district policies, contracts, and records
- Preparing records for and presenting at district grievance hearings
- Researching points of law involved in litigation, hearings, investigations, and compliance issues to determine the validity and completeness of cases cited
- Preparing cases for litigation, hearings, and investigations
- Creating and presenting training materials
