In this role, you will represent vehicle manufacturers in presuit matters and all aspects of litigation. Matters include breach of warranty and/or state lemon laws. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of litigation arising from warranty-related disputes. Your role will involve providing legal counsel, developing litigation strategies, representing the company in court, and negotiating settlements. You will collaborate with internal teams, external counsel, and other stakeholders to protect the company's interests and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Members of the Warranty practice group also handle other types of litigation such as commercial litigation and product liability cases.
Qualifications:
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school.
- Admission to the Florida Bar
- 3+ years of litigation experience, preferably commercial litigation, product defense or warranty defense.
- Strong understanding of contract law.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
