We at California Accident Firm, APC are a boutique, rapidly growing Plaintiff's Personal Injury law firm with a strong reputation throughout California. We are known for our ethical but firm representation of our clients and are respected by our adversaries.

We are currently seeking an experienced Associate Personal Injury Attorney to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 0-3 years of personal injury litigation experience and will be comfortable handling an active caseload with the direction and support of a Senior Trial Attorney.

Qualifications & Responsibilities
  • Minimum of 0-3 years of personal injury litigation experience.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • Handle a volume of personal injury cases with the direction of a Senior Trial Attorney.
  • Represent clients in matters involving motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, and other personal injury claims.
  • Strong familiarity with legal research and law and motion practice.
  • Take and defend depositions, including those of plaintiffs, defendants, experts, and witnesses.
  • Draft and respond to motions and oppositions, including Motions for Summary Judgment/Adjudication, Demurrers, and discovery-related motions.
  • Propound and respond to written discovery.
  • Draft complaints ranging from basic motor vehicle accident cases to more complex premises liability and assault cases.
  • Assist with settlement negotiations, mediations, and other litigation-related matters.
  • Assist with trial preparation, including Motions in Limine, jury instructions, special verdict forms, and other trial-related documents.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and other parties.
  • Meet all court-imposed and internal deadlines.

Requirements:
  • Active California Bar License and in good standing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize multiple cases and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while also working effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage a litigation caseload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat DC.
