Hiller Comerford Injury & Disability Law, PLLC is expanding, and our rapidly growing personal injury department is looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic practice that is scaling quickly and making a real impact on the lives of injured individuals throughout Western New York.As an Associate Attorney, you'll play a key role in driving successful outcomes for clients while working closely with an experienced, collaborative personal injury team. What You'll Do:
- Manage your own caseload of personal injury matters—auto accidents, premises liability, and more—from initial investigation through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery materials, settlement agreements, briefs, and other litigation documents with precision and creativity.
- Conduct legal research and prepare thoroughly for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
- Represent clients with confidence in court appearances, depositions, and settlement negotiations.
- Communicate openly and effectively with clients, senior attorneys, paralegals, and opposing counsel.
- Maintain organized, up‑to‑date case files and contribute to an efficient case management system.
What We're Looking For:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 1–3 years of personal injury litigation experience (plaintiff or defense) preferred.
- Strong legal writing, research, communication, and negotiation skills.
- A proactive mindset, strong time‑management abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities. (EOE)
