The Team You'll Join
You'll join Envestnet's Legal & Compliance team, a collaborative group of legal professionals dedicated to supporting the company's innovative financial technology and wealth management solutions. Working alongside experienced attorneys and business partners, you will help navigate complex commercial agreements, manage legal risk, and support key strategic initiatives across the organization. This team plays a critical role in enabling business growth while maintaining a strong commitment to regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and client-focused service.
How You'll Contribute
We are looking for a dedicated Associate Legal Counsel - Contracts with a strong work ethic and attention to detail to work on commercial service agreements in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will effectively ensure legal conformity, minimize probability of exposure, demonstrate dependability and be willing to commit to working from the office at least three days a week.
- Serve as the primary attorney supporting the corporate procurement and strategic sourcing teams, including the review, analysis, and negotiation of a wide variety of vendor services agreements, including IT and technology contracts.
- Lead the drafting, management, and negotiation of corporate non-disclosure agreements, serving as the primary attorney responsible for the NDA workflow.
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and business requirements.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams to advance enterprise-wide strategic initiatives and business objectives.
- Support Envestnet's business practices, policies, internal controls, and procedures designed to drive value and mitigate risk
What You'll Need to Bring
- Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school
- Member in good standing of a state bar
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Ability to understand business needs and requirements
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
- Willingness and capacity to learn new and evolving regulatory fields.
- Minimum of 0.5 to 2 years of legal experience drafting and negotiation in areas of procurement, strategic sourcing and/or vendor management.
- Experience and/or interest in FinTech, IT, artificial intelligence, data security, privacy regulation is a plus.

Our Investment in You
This role offers a base salary range of $94,600 to $118,300. The range listed represents a good-faith estimate of base salary compensation for this position and does not include incentive compensation, equity or benefits. Individual pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. This role is eligible for an additional incentive component as part of the total rewards package.
