Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Law Associate Attorney who is comfortable working independently, as well as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a passion for family law, exceptional legal skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding client service. The candidate must be able to multi-task, track and meet deadlines effectively, interact well with clients, have excellent verbal and writing skills, and demonstrate empathy for families going through challenging transitions. The position will involve significant litigation work. Confidence in courtroom settings is preferred. Experience with DissoMaster, Lawyaw, Quickbooks, Attorney's Briefcase, and Westlaw legal research is a plus. A commitment to serving others through the law is an absolute requirement. The position pays between $100,000.00 per year to $150,000.00 per year, depending on experience.Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and spousal support matters
- Conduct legal research and provide legal advice to clients
- Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Attend court hearings and trials
- Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure effective representation of clients
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
Requirements:
- Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in the state
- 2-3 years of litigation experience in family law practice.
- Excellent legal research and writing skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
