The Mount Laurel Office in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey is looking for a General Liability Associate Attorney to join our growing team.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Evaluate new files.
Client communications.
Discovery production.
Research and prepare legal memoranda on various areas of law.
Prepare and argue discovery.
Substantive, dispositive pre- and post-trial motions and appeals.
Attend pretrial listings.
Motions and trial.

Position Requirements:

Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New Jersey.
3-5 years of civil litigation experience required; insurance defense experience strongly preferred.
Experience handling all phases of litigation, including pleadings, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediation, trial preparation, and developing litigation strategy.
Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload, prioritize multiple deadlines, and provide timely reporting while meeting court and client expectations.
Strong legal research, analytical, writing, oral advocacy, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, including experience preparing dispositive motions, discovery motions, and settlement evaluations.
Experience communicating effectively with insurance carriers, claims professionals, clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses, while delivering exceptional client service.
Familiarity with state and federal court rules and proficiency with legal research platforms, Microsoft Office, and case management/timekeeping software.
Trial, arbitration, or evidentiary hearing experience is a plus. Must be a self-motivated, organized team player who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
