As Director, Associate General Counsel, on the A Global Mobility Solutions Company legal team, you will become an integral part and high-contributing member of a highly skilled and dedicated group of legal and risk professionals and a leader in A Global Mobility Solutions Company's Global Legal, Risk and Compliance (“LRC”) organization. You will play an essential role in our global strategies and initiatives and help shape LRC throughout complex, international markets and in an ever-changing legal and regulatory landscape. This position will report directly to the Deputy Chief Legal Officer.

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
Primary Responsibilities:
As Director, Associate General Counsel, you will help support a team of legal and risk professionals dedicated to building and maintaining a world-class legal department, with responsibilities including to:
  • Demonstrate expertise and provide guidance on a variety of commercial agreements, including global framework agreements, engagement letters, master services agreements, alliance agreements and vendor/supplier agreements
  • Provide counsel on commercial strategy and practical solutions for complex commercial and contracting issues, serving as a point of escalation
  • Develop and implement policies, practices and guidance for A Global Mobility Solutions Company's global legal department, including training, guides and playbooks aligned with A Global Mobility Solutions Company's strategic business objectives
  • Provide training and counsel to LRC members, A Global Mobility Solutions Company management, global business teams and other cross-functional partners
  • Advise on A Global Mobility Solutions Company's response to legal and regulatory activity and risk mitigation strategies
  • Support transition of new A Global Mobility Solutions Company initiatives, tool and technology developments and other transformative projects towards execution and finalization, engaging cross-functionally and with relevant stakeholders
  • Working with Risk and Compliance on material compliance initiatives relevant to A Global Mobility Solutions Company's business
  • Identifying and mitigating risks in the design of governance frameworks in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, and managing or supporting international governance registrations and reporting requirements
  • Advise on global changes to laws, regulations, standards and best practices and their potential impact to A Global Mobility Solutions Company's business and operations
  • Managing multiple priorities in the allocated time and meeting deadlines
  • Executing duties with significant attention to detail and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Adhering to risk management and compliance procedures
  • Communicating regularly and professionally with internal colleagues and escalating items in accordance with A Global Mobility Solutions Company policy and sound legal and business judgment
  • Establishing and maintaining positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally to achieve the goals of the organization

Qualifications:
  • Juris doctor or equivalent international law degree, depending on location
  • Active legal license in good standing to practice law in an in-house legal department
  • 8-10+ years of experience handling global legal matters
  • Current and substantial knowledge of global legal frameworks, best practices and general commercial law
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Prior law firm experience and/or in-house experience at a multinational company
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including in remote work settings
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure and under strict deadlines
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to share and collaborate effectively with other members of the legal team
  • Flexibility to work outside normal working hours may be required
