Associate General Counsel

Summary:
Advises on a wide range of legal matters for UCHealth, including its member hospitals, surgery centers, and clinics.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides legal support for all UCHealth entities, including providing executive management with effective advice and counsel on problem solving and coordination of legal and business considerations, spanning a broad segment of health law
  • Participates in drafting, negotiating, reviewing, and/or revising the organization's contracts
  • Provides legal advice and guidance related to patient care and hospital operations
  • Identifies, researches, analyzes and interprets legal and regulatory requirements and determines implications for UCHealth and proper implementation of any requirements
  • Cultivates and maintains solid collaborative relationships with UCHealth clients and colleagues
  • Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

Requirements:
  • Credentials: License to Practice Law in Colorado
  • Minimum Required Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Required Licensure/Certification: State licensure as an Attorney.
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience.

Preferred:
  • Experience providing legal advice and support to pharmacy operations, including experience related to 340B
  • Experience providing legal advice and support for clinical research
  • Experience providing legal advice related to patient care and hospital operations

Pay: Min -$192,816 Mid - $250,660 Max - $308,505 annual salary. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience
