Meta seeks a skilled and highly motivated attorney to join the Technology Transactions and Global Procurement Legal team. In support of commercial transactions for the team, you will draft and negotiate commercial agreements that focus on AI cloud computing (including bare metal cloud services), data center facilities operations, logistics services and supply chain management for Meta's global data center infrastructure. You will also advise clients on the various legal risks, business strategies and other issues related to commercial transactions and general operations. Associate General Counsel, Infrastructure Technology Transactions (Services) Responsibilities

Contract drafting, lead negotiation and advisory responsibilities for Meta's Technology Transaction and Global Procurement Legal organization, including procurement of products and services from data center equipment, software and services vendors (including cloud service providers), manufacturing vendors and warehousing and logistics partners, in addition to other complex partnerships and commercial arrangements
Influence and build relationships with clients and cross-functional peers across Meta to drive solutions to complex legal and commercial challenges
Drive continuous improvements to existing legal templates, legal and business processes, and legal support of the business
Collaborate with subject matter experts to analyze and communicate legal risks
Provide legal and strategic business advice to help develop a comprehensive, long-term approach to our relationships with key vendors and partners

Minimum Qualifications:

J.D. degree (or foreign equivalent)
Active membership in at least one US state bar and eligibility to obtain registered in-house counsel status (if required by the State Bar in the assigned work location)
8+ years of legal experience, including relevant technology transactions experience (either in-house and/or at a global law firm)
Experience leading negotiations with strategic partners and coordinating legal counsel across complex and multifaceted legal issues such as data protection and privacy, competition and other global legal frameworks
Experience drafting, negotiating and managing technology deals (e.g., cloud services, technology licensing, master purchase agreements, master service agreements, statements of work, etc.)
Experience working on and managing numerous projects and deals simultaneously under competing deadlines while working effectively and collaboratively cross-functionally, exercising sound business judgment and being solution-oriented
Demonstrate business judgment and client counseling skills
Effective communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience providing counsel to technology companies in the cloud services, data center operations, supply chain management or foundry spaces
Experience drafting custom agreements from scratch (i.e. not from existing templates)
Proven organizational skills, experience managing multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines

$198,000/year to $266,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
