Description:

If you get bored doing the same thing every day, keep reading.

We're looking for an early-career attorney who thrives in a fast-moving environment where no two days look alike.

One hour you may be preparing for a court appearance. The next you'll be negotiating a real estate acquisition, responding to a government agency, attending a closing, helping structure a new business, or developing litigation strategy with outside counsel.

This is not a large corporate legal department where you'll spend months reviewing one type of agreement.

You'll work directly with the CEO and our outside General Counsel, receiving hands-on mentorship while taking meaningful responsibility from day one.

What You'll Handle
  • Commercial litigation (approximately 5–10 matters annually)
  • Administrative hearings (20–50 annually)
  • Real estate acquisitions and closings
  • Construction and development issues
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Government agency matters
  • Contract drafting and negotiation
  • Risk management
  • Corporate governance
  • Special projects that don't fit neatly into a job description

You'll Be Successful If You...

  • Love learning new things
  • Prefer solving problems over following a script
  • Can switch between priorities without getting overwhelmed
  • Enjoy being in court one day and at a closing the next
  • Ask questions and seek feedback
  • Are resourceful and persistent
  • Take ownership instead of waiting for instructions
  • Want to become an exceptional business lawyer, not just a specialist in one niche
  • Mentorship

You'll work directly with:
  • The CEO, a real estate developer managing acquisitions, construction, financing, and operations.
  • Our outside General Counsel, who will help develop your legal judgment and litigation skills.
  • Our goal is to develop someone who becomes an indispensable part of the executive team over the long term.

This Probably Isn't For You If...
  • You prefer highly structured, repetitive work.
  • You need someone assigning every next step.
  • You dislike changing priorities.
  • You want to spend your career doing only one type of law.
  • You prefer research over execution.

Experience:
0–4 years preferred.

Strong work ethic, curiosity, and judgment matter more than a perfect résumé.
