Kutak Rock, LLP seeks an associate to join the Real Estate and Finance department in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will have an interest in developing their knowledge and skills in complex commercial finance transactions across a broad spectrum of asset classes and transaction structures with a national client base. Representative transactions include asset-based lending, real estate finance, equipment leasing and lending, tax credit-based housing projects and specialty finance transactions funded by institutional lenders and private equity investors. The position will also include workout, restructuring and enforcement transactions with respect to the foregoing financings. Associates will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners in a collaborative environment designed to maximize the development of substantive experience and client engagement opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate financing, workout and restructuring documents
- Review and manage due diligence
- Manage all aspects of the transaction lifecycle, from origination to closing, and post-closing enforcement

Qualifications: Education and Experience
- Currently admitted to practice in Nebraska with an active bar license in good standing or able to be admitted within one year required
- Experience in real estate or corporate finance transactional matters in a law firm or corporate legal department preferred
- Candidates with excellent academic record given preference
