We are seeking a motivated Associate Attorney who is passionate about helping families navigate some of life's most difficult transitions while delivering exceptional legal representation.

Position Summary:
The Associate Attorney will manage a family law caseload from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate is confident in the courtroom, possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills, and is committed to providing outstanding client service.

Responsibilities:
Manage a full caseload of Florida family law matters, including:
  • Dissolution of Marriage
  • Paternity
  • Child Custody/Timesharing
  • Child Support
  • Alimony
  • Modifications
  • Contempt and Enforcement
  • Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and proposed orders.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare legal strategies.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, case management conferences, and trials.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively for clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to efficiently move cases forward.
  • Ensure compliance with Florida Family Law Rules of Procedure and court deadlines.
  • Accurately record billable time.

Qualifications:
  • Active member in good standing with The Florida Bar.
  • 2+ years of Florida family law experience preferred (newly licensed attorneys with strong family law experience through internships or clerkships may be considered).
  • Strong courtroom presence and litigation skills.
  • Excellent legal writing and research abilities.
  • Experience drafting pleadings and attending hearings.
  • Ability to independently manage deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional, compassionate, and client-focused demeanor.
  • Experience with MyCase or similar case management software is a plus.
