We are seeking an Estate Planning Associate Attorney to join our collaborative legal team.This role is ideal for an early-career attorney who enjoys client interaction, learning through mentorship, and is looking to build strong estate planning fundamentals in a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct estate planning consultations and client meetings
- Explain estate planning strategies and documents in clear, practical terms
- Draft, review, and customize estate planning documents
- Assist with document signing meetings and implementation
- Collaborate with attorneys and staff to deliver high-quality client service
- Maintain organized case files and ensure compliancei with all legal administrative procedures
- Engage in ongoing professional development by attending seminars and training sessions related to estate planning and other relevant fields
Qualifications:
- 0–3 years of legal experience
- Active member in good standing with Virginia, Maryland or DC Bar
- Foundational knowledge of estate planning and core documents, or willingness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range: $80,000-$105,000, based on experience, plus bonus opportunities
