Responsibilities:
You will be a critical member of A Green Energy Supplier's team as an accomplished transactional attorney who has the skill and versatility to flex between supporting a wide range of contracts, negotiations, and advisory work. In this role you will be drafting agreements, partnering with internal stakeholders, and negotiating with a wide range of vendors, customers, and strategic partners.

What you will do:
  • Provide thoughtful, strategic, business-minded advice to internal stakeholders, and consult on a wide range of contracts, such as confidentiality agreements, supply agreements, consulting service agreements, vendor agreements, and customer agreements
  • Work closely with the Vice President – Legal and other stakeholders in the company to develop contract forms, templates, and playbooks, as well as processes to support these tools
  • Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, Finance, and other teams to drive execution of solid commercial agreements
  • Lead contract negotiations for various commercial agreements
  • Lead special projects including process and technology improvements to deliver impact that further enable Legal's ability to support A Green Energy Supplier's growing business
  • Develop and deliver training and other materials to educate the organization on contract terms and other legal issues

Qualifications:
  • JD degree and admitted to practice in the U.S.
  • 5+ years of transactional experience in a global law firm and/or in-house legal department, contract drafting, and negotiating contracts
  • Experience with contract management systems
  • Experience serving as a business partner to senior leaders
  • Global supply chain experience is preferred
