What you will do:
  • Provide practical legal guidance on commercial contracts, including group business agreements and vendor and supplier agreements.
  • Support litigation and claims involving general liability, workers' compensation, third-party subpoenas, and insurance coverage matters.
  • Advise on workforce-related legal risk, including employment agreements, workplace safety, contract labor, and other employment matters requiring attorney review.
  • Develop and maintain legal playbooks, templates, checklists, guidelines, and other resources that promote consistent and scalable practices.
  • Identify opportunities to improve legal processes and collaborate with Legal Operations and other departments to implement practical solutions.
  • Support additional legal matters and responsibilities necessary to advance the priorities of the organization.

What we are looking for:
  • Private-practice experience: At least two years of experience working in private practice.
  • Legal-industry experience: Five or more years of legal experience is preferred.
  • Education: Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensure: Active admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state.
  • Technology proficiency: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Business-oriented judgment: The ability to translate legal requirements into clear, practical, and scalable guidance.
  • Collaboration: A demonstrated ability to partner effectively with business leaders, Legal Operations, HR, and other organizational stakeholders.
  • Travel: Ability to travel up to 15%.
  • Work environment: Ability to perform work that requires extended periods at a computer.
