Job Role Summary
This position is responsible for protecting the organization's legal interests, maintaining its operations within the scope established by law and providing risk management services. This involves providing legal advice on a variety of matters including the law governing health care institutions, political subdivisions and municipal corporations for the State of Indiana.

Associated Job Duties
  • Provide advice and counsel to all divisions of the Corporation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
  • Assist in the review and drafting of corporate policies and procedures, and governance documents.
  • Assists in the review of tort claims and other litigation as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Jurisprudence
  • License to practice law in Indiana
  • At least two year's experience in the practice of law as a licensed attorney (may include a judicial clerkship.
  • Knowledge of, or experience in, local government and/or the administrative process
  • Employment law experience, preferred.
