Role will be based in Boston, MA. The role is hybrid, with the current in-office expectation of 4 days per week.

What you will be responsible for
As Associate Counsel you will
- Review and update employee benefit and compensation plan documents, amendments, and other related documentation;
- Support the design, implementation, and administration of compensation and benefit plans and processes, including associated governance committees and tax, securities and other governmental filings;
- Advise on ERISA, fiduciary duty, the Internal Revenue Code, HIPAA, COBRA, vendor management and other issues related to qualified retirement plans, supplemental retirement plans, and health and welfare plans;
- Provide guidance to business partners with respect to handling and responding to participant and/or benefit plan claim matters;
- Liaise with external service providers, including external legal counsel and outsourced administrators, to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations in U.S. (primarily) and non-U.S, jurisdictions;
- Provide a supportive and critical perspective to internal Global Human Resources teams based on strong problem-solving and technical legal skills, overseeing a breadth of employee benefits, employee relations, and governance matters and projects; and
- Provide support to senior attorneys on executive compensation, benefits, employment, and other matters.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school;
- Admitted to practice and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; and
- 4-6 years experience in employee benefits law.
Additional Requirements:
Ability to participate in video conferences on remote work days.
Salary Range:
$90,000 - $157,500 Annual
