Position Overview:
As the Associate Counsel, Brand Protection, you'll be at the forefront of safeguarding the integrity of Celsius' global brand through proactive IP enforcement, anti-counterfeiting initiatives, and marketplace policing. This is your opportunity to lead strategic efforts that protect brand equity, combat unauthorized sales, and ensure the integrity of our product distribution worldwide.

You'll bring deep expertise in global brand protection, digital enforcement, and supply chain risk mitigation—collaborating across legal, marketing, sales, and operations to drive a comprehensive brand defense strategy.

Requirements:
  • Experience: 8+ years in brand protection, IP enforcement, or commercial law
  • Education: JD or equivalent with admission to practice law in the U.S.
  • Expertise in anti-counterfeiting, domain enforcement (UDRP), and gray market mitigation
  • Strong background in marketplace policing and social media IP enforcement
  • Experience partnering with customs and global law enforcement agencies
  • Familiarity with AI-based monitoring tools and brand enforcement platforms
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver business-oriented legal solutions
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, eBay, Alibaba) and brand monitoring strategies

Responsibilities:
  • Lead enforcement strategies against parallel imports, gray market activity, and unauthorized resellers
  • Collaborate with supply chain and commercial teams on territorial brand protections and distribution agreements
  • Manage customs and global enforcement efforts to intercept unauthorized shipments
  • Investigate and take action against third-party resellers contributing to brand dilution
  • Implement digital brand policing strategies across marketplaces, websites, and social platforms
  • Oversee counterfeit detection and removal on major e-commerce channels
  • Manage domain name enforcement, including UDRP proceedings and cybersquatting disputes
  • Collaborate with marketing on digital brand consistency and take action against misleading or unauthorized use
  • Monitor and enforce against impersonation accounts and unauthorized brand affiliations on social media
  • Deploy AI monitoring tools and enforcement platforms to detect and respond to brand misuse
  • Drive cease-and-desist actions, enforcement escalations, and coordinated brand defense tactics
  • Provide legal support for procurement, vendor onboarding, and contract negotiations
  • Ensure commercial contracts comply with consumer protection, data privacy, and advertising laws
  • Support compliance, sustainability, and supplier diversity initiatives in commercial agreements

The base salary range for this position is dependent on experience and location. The final offer will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and qualifications. This position may be eligible for other compensation, including bonuses and Restricted Stock Units (subject to company plans).
