About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to join our growing legal team and support our network of surgical practices. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney to build a broad in-house skill set while working closely with executive leadership, physicians, and operational teams.

The position reports directly to the Corporate Counsel and collaborates regularly with the Chief Executive Officer and Physician President. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the organization's legal needs while helping advance initiatives that improve patient care and operational excellence across our practices.

What you will do:
As Associate Corporate Counsel, you will support a wide range of legal matters, with a primary focus on contracts and transactional work.

Responsibilities include:
  • Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, including employment agreements, vendor agreements, lease agreements, and other healthcare-related agreements
  • Advising business teams on contractual matters and general business issues
  • Collaborating with leadership, physicians, and operational teams to provide practical legal guidance
  • Supporting the implementation of contract management and other legal technology solutions
  • Drafting and maintaining template agreements and standard contract language
  • Establishing and updating policies and procedures aligned with compliance standards and best practices
  • Educating internal stakeholders on contract processes, negotiation considerations, and legal risk management
  • Helping drive consistency, efficiency, and innovation within legal operations

What We're Looking For:
  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active bar membership required (Florida preferred)
  • 2–4 years of legal experience, preferably focused on transactional law
  • Experience in private practice or in-house environments supporting healthcare, real estate, or employment law matters is a plus
  • Strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders
  • Interest in improving legal processes through legal technology and workflow automation
  • Exposure to healthcare regulatory frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute) is helpful but not required
  • Drug and background screen required
