A Media Production Company, a dynamic and rapidly expanding organization, is seeking an Associate Corporate Counsel to join our legal team. Reporting directly to the President, the Associate Corporate Counsel will be responsible for managing various legal projects and providing crucial legal guidance to ensure the achievement of our company's goals.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice across a spectrum of issues to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Ensure legal objectives are met while staying abreast of legislative changes impacting our business and its subsidiaries.
- Handle First-Party insurance litigation cases and oversee related legal proceedings.
- Conduct in-depth legal research, draft legal memoranda, and deliver recommendations to management.
- Review, draft, and negotiate a variety of contracts and legal documents with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ensure contractual terms align with regulatory requirements and corporate policies.
- Uphold corporate governance principles and practices to maintain compliance.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and active bar license (any U.S. state).
- 2-5 years of post-law school experience with contract review and drafting, preferably in a law firm setting.
- Strong understanding of corporate law, international law, and contract principles.
- Excellent multitasking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
