Boutique trusts and estates litigation and administration firm in West Los Angeles seeks an Associate Attorney with at least four (3) years of experience in probate and/or civil litigation. As an Associate Attorney you will work closely with partners on trust and estate matters at various stages of litigation, from inception through trial.

3+ years probate and/or civil litigation experience (at least 2+ years of probate litigation experience preferred)
Familiarity with the Code of Civil Procedure (required)
Familiarity with Probate Code (preferred)
Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
California State Bar member in good standing
Draft and review pleadings and correspondence
Propound and respond to written discovery
Prepare and oppose motions
Prepare deposition outlines and exhibits
Prepare mediation/settlement briefs
Prepare meet and confer correspondence
Analyze questions of law and fact
Conduct legal research
Manage and prioritize multiple projects and assignments
Appear at court hearings
Attend meetings with clients
Salary range: $120,000 – $180,000 (commensurate with experience)
