Associate Attorney – Plaintiff-Side Personal Injury (Remote)We are a plaintiff-side personal injury law firm seeking an experienced, high-functioning Associate Attorney to join our collaborative team. This is a fully remote position for someone who is trustworthy, self-motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional client service. We have offices throughout California.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage personal injury cases from intake through resolution while providing clients with compassionate, hands-on guidance throughout every stage of their case.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing personal injury cases from A to Z
- Handling both pre-litigation and litigation matters
- Maintaining regular communication with clients and providing outstanding client service
- Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents
- Taking and defending depositions
- Attending court hearings
- Negotiating settlements
- Handling minor's compromise proceedings
- Assisting with trial preparation and, when appropriate, trial
Qualifications:
- Active California Bar membership
- At least three years of personal injury experience preferred
- Plaintiff-side or insurance-defense experience will be considered
- Strong negotiation, litigation, and client-management skills
- Trial experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and responsibly in a remote environment
- Highly organized, dependable, trustworthy, and team-oriented
