Description:
The Role:We're seeking an Associate Real Estate Attorney with solid real estate transactional experience who can help manage closings and real estate matters from start to finish. Corporate/M&A experience is a major plus, especially if you've handled due diligence, entity work, or supporting documents in deal workflows.
This position is ideal for someone who can step in with confidence, manage deadlines, communicate clearly, and keep transactions moving without hand-holding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage real estate transactions and closings from contract through post-closing (lot, land, and related commercial matters).
- Review and analyze contracts, title commitments, exception documents, surveys, and closing requirements.
- Draft, revise, and review closing documents (including closing checklists, closing instructions, deeds, deeds of trust, affidavits, and related instruments).
- Coordinate with clients, lenders, title companies, and internal team members to ensure smooth closings and timely document execution/recording.
- Maintain excellent client service through clear, responsive communication.
- Corporate/M&A support (plus): assist with due diligence, contract review, entity documents, and general transactional support as needed.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- Real estate transactional experience required (law firm and/or title company background welcomed)
- Strong drafting, issue-spotting, organization, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines/transactions simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working fully in-person in our Dallas/North Dallas office
