About Us:We are a fast-paced plaintiff's personal injury law firm dedicated to aggressively representing injured clients throughout Texas. Our litigation department handles a high-volume docket with a collaborative team environment and strong support staff.
We are seeking an attorney to primarily handle Zoom depositions, with occasional court appearances in Hidalgo County and virtual hearings in other Texas counties.
Responsibilities:
- Attend plaintiff/defendant Zoom depositions
- Conduct depositions of parties, witnesses, and corporate representatives
- Attend occasional hearings in Hidalgo County or remotely throughout Texas
- Review case files prior to depositions and hearings
- Work closely with litigation staff and attorneys on case strategy
- Handle motion hearings, scheduling conferences, and related appearances as needed
- Maintain professional communication with opposing counsel and clients
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar
- Litigation experience preferred, especially personal injury
- Comfortable handling depositions independently
- Strong courtroom and communication skills
- Ability to manage deadlines and appear prepared with minimal supervision
- Experience with Texas Rules of Civil Procedure preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
