We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney specializing in Personal Injury law to join our growing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to handle a variety of personal injury cases, develop your litigation skills, and contribute to our firm's reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong legal research and writing skills, a passion for advocacy, and a commitment to client success.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and other legal documents
- Conduct legal research and provide analysis on statutes, regulations and case law
- Represent clients in hearings, negotiations and other legal proceedings
- Manage discovery processes, including document review and deposition preparation
- Collaborate with internal teams or clients to develop legal strategies and solutions
- Support litigation or transactional matters from inception through resolution
- Maintain organized case files and ensure timely updates to legal systems
- Monitor legal developments and assess their impact on client matters
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel and regulatory bodies
- Uphold ethical standards and ensure compliance with legal and professional obligations
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar
- 1 to 2 years of experience in personal injury law or related litigation fields highly preferred
- Strong research skills
- Excellent legal writing and drafting capabilities with attention to detail
- Experience with with going to Court and representing Firm in courthouses
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes and office management software
- Demonstrated negotiation skills with a proactive approach to client advocacy
