Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research on case law, statutes, regulations, and legal precedents to support litigation strategy
  • Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and persuasive arguments; strong analytical skills are essential.
  • Prepare and respond to interrogatories, disclosures, depositions, document production and related tasks.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trials; assist senior attorneys in trial preparation.
  • Proficiency in communicating in a clear, logical manner with clients, agencies, courts, and opposing counsel. Provide updates, gather information, and advise clients on legal rights and case strategy.
  • Ability to analyze case law, statutes, and facts to support strategic decisions.
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
  • Active license to practice law in Arizona, and in good standing.
  • 0-3 Years of litigation experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge in insurance defense, municipal litigation, and commercial litigation preferred.

Working Conditions:
The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (typical office or administrative work).

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
