Responsibilities:
As a Law Clerk:
  • Conduct legal research and draft memoranda.
  • Assist with the preparation of pleadings, motions, and discovery.
  • Review case files and summarize evidence.
  • Draft correspondence and client communications.
  • Attend hearings, mediations, and client meetings with supervising attorneys.
  • Support trial preparation and case strategy development under the mentorship and guidance of highly experienced counsel.
  • As an Associate Attorney:
  • Manage a caseload under firm supervision.
  • Represent clients in court hearings and conferences.
  • Draft and argue motions.
  • Conduct depositions and mediations.
  • Provide legal advice and strategic guidance to clients.
  • Continue developing expertise in Colorado family law.

Qualifications:
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Interest in family law and criminal defense.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to professionalism, empathy, and ethical practice.
