Kirwin Norris, P.A., a firm dedicated to construction law, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join our litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney to gain hands-on experience in courtroom advocacy, case management, and construction-related disputes within a focused, high-caliber practice.Experience Level: 2–6 years
Responsibilities:
- Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents in construction-related matters
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage active caseload and work with senior attorneys on case strategy, including participating in dispute resolution proceedings
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and courts
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Florida Bar
- 2–6 years of commercial litigation experience
- Construction law experience preferred, but not required
- Strong research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Proficiency in legal research and the ability to translate findings into clear, well-supported written work product
