About the position: A Legal Services in Washington, DC, United States seeks an associate attorney to join our small, collegial team. We're looking for star candidates who have demonstrated exceptional writing and editing skills, the capacity to think rigorously and creatively about the law, strong advocacy instincts, collaborative spirit, and a genuine passion for public interest work. Judicial clerkship experience is strongly preferred and at least one year of practice experience (not including clerkships) is required. The position can be located in either our Washington, DC or San Fransisco office. The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $160,000 or more, depending on experience.
