Boyd, Boyd & Giddens has an immediate opening for an Associate Attorney with civil litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation, insurance defense, oil & gas litigation and/or premises liability defense.This position provides the opportunity to manage complex litigation matters, work directly with clients, and play a meaningful role in the continued growth of the firm.
Position Responsibilities:
- Case Management (Responding to Discovery, Conducting Depositions, Attending Mediation, Reporting, Billing, etc.)
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify legal issues and develop creative solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local rules
- Occasional travel
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of Texas
- Civil litigation/insurance defense experience
- Commitment to professionalism, integrity, and client service excellence.
- Proficient with Windows and Microsoft Office
