Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various issues related to ongoing cases.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions and briefs.
- Assist in case preparation, including gathering evidence, interviewing clients and witnesses, taking depositions and attending court proceedings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience practicing law, preferably in areas such as civil and/or commercial litigation
- Licensed to practice law in Michigan
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
- Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, ethics, and client service.
