Description:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in probate and trust administration including guardianships, conservatorships, and contested probate matters to support our expanding client base. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping clients create thoughtful, customized plans to protect their loved ones and preserve their assets.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estate planning documents, including revocable and irrevocable trusts, wills, powers of attorney, etc
  • Manage probate and trust administration cases, including court filings, required notices, and guiding personal representatives and trustees through the process.
  • Handle Guardianship and Conservatorship cases as well as contested probate litigation.
  • Work closely with clients to understand family dynamics and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs and goals.
  • Remain current on Arizona estate planning and probate laws and any relevant federal changes.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver compassionate, detail-oriented legal service.

Requirements:
  • 3–10 years of experience in trusts, estates, and probate administration.
  • Strong command of Arizona probate code and estate planning best practices
  • Excellent drafting and client counseling skills
  • Active member of the Arizona State Bar

Skills:
  • Strong legal research skills using resources such as Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw.
  • Strong writing and communication skills, especially in client-facing settings.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple estate planning and probate matters simultaneously.
  • Empathy and professionalism in working with families and individuals through sensitive planning discussions.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in document preparation and file management.
