Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice and representation to clients in various family law actions (including divorce, custody & parent-time, adoptions, guardianships, prenuptial/postnuptial agreements, child support issues, etc), ensuring their rights are protected and advocating on their behalf.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice
- Draft legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and motions
- Represent clients in court proceedings and court-ordered mediation settings
- Provide legal administrative support as needed
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting clients
Experience:
- Proven experience in legal drafting, research, and litigation
- Strong knowledge of legal procedures and principles
- Ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients
- Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis
- Excellent writing skills to prepare legal documents and correspondence
This position requires an active Utah bar membership. 3+ years experience in the family law setting is preferred. Alongside your resume, please submit a writing sample.
