Small, fast paced law office is seeking an associate for our criminal/traffic practice

We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our criminal/traffic department. The successful candidate must have a strong understanding of the law and be able to handle cases in the District Court and Circuit Court whether they are trials or pleas. Must be able to do intakes and attract new clients

Must be licensed to practice in Maryland, DC and Virginia would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

Draft legal documents, pleadings, and motions.
Research and analyze legal issues.
Advise clients on crimin and traffic matters.
Complete intakes
Attend court hearings
Manage client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Keep abreast of changes in the law and regulations.
Develop strategies to achieve desired outcomes in litigation or other legal matters.

There is an opportunity to earn a performance based bonus.
