We are seeking licensed, dynamic associates committed to helping individuals in need obtain Social Security disability benefits.

Your primary duties include:
  • Prepare cases for Administrative Law hearings
  • Meet with clients and interview witnesses
  • Request and review medical records
  • Occasional appellate brief writing (short IRAC memos sent to the Appeal's Court)
  • Appear at Administrative hearings where you cross-examine witnesses and interact with hearing office staff and judges
  • Pre-screening clients for qualifications
  • Review decisions for legal errors and advise clients on course of action

Requirements:
Typically, we expect associates to perform their job out of our office located in SE Portland and to keep regular 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. business hours. Hearing attorneys would also be expected to travel 1-2 days a week to hearings office locations throughout the Pacific NW.

We do ask that new associates to come into our office during regular business hours. Flexibility regarding work from home could become available once the individual gains experience.

License/Certification:
Bar License - Any State (Required)
