Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
  • Draft legal documents, including wills and trusts, ensuring compliance with estate law.
  • Assist clients with estate planning, providing guidance on relevant legal matters.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases, contributing to negotiations and strategies.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and addressing inquiries.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active license.
  • Strong legal research skills, including proficiency in Lexis-Nexis and Westlaw
  • Excellent writing and legal drafting abilities
  • Experience in wills, trusts, and estate law
  • Familiarity with various areas of law such as family law and personal injury law
  • Prior legal administrative experience is a plus
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work collaboratively in a law office setting
