Overview:We are seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join our team at An Experienced Divorce & Family Law Representation Law Firm. The ideal candidate will have a passion for family law and a commitment to advocating for the best interests of our clients. As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our highly experienced attorney, gaining invaluable mentorship and hands-on experience in various aspects of family law practice.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various legal issues
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Assist in case preparation and management
- Communicate with clients, witnesses, and other attorneys
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
- Attend court proceedings, mediations, and depositions
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice law in the state of Florida
- Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
- Experience with Westlaw and/or Lexis-Nexis for legal research
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Prior experience in Family Law
- Proficiency in legal drafting
- Knowledge of legal administrative procedures
