We are seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Attorney with a minimum of three (3) years of insurance defense litigation experience to join our litigation team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an active insurance defense litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
- Prepare and respond to written discovery.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Attend and argue hearings.
- Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and legal correspondence.
- Participate in mediations and settlement conferences.
- Prepare cases for trial and maintain client communications.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Active Florida Bar membership.
- Minimum 3 years of insurance defense experience.
- Experience with depositions, hearings, motion practice, and mediations.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
