Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case development and statutory interpretation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, legal motions, pleadings, and other legal documents with precision and clarity.
- Prepare for court depositions and trial proceedings by organizing evidence, developing case strategies, and participating in trial preparation activities.
- Provide legal counsel to clients on various issues including estate planning, general litigation, and family law regulations.
- Manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining meticulous records of case progress and client communications.
- Assist attorneys in litigation processes related to general litigation, employment law cases, and family law matters.
- Support the firm's advocacy efforts through effective legal writing, motion preparation, and courtroom presentation when needed.
Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in multiple practice areas such as estate planning, family law, employment law or related fields.
- Proven ability to perform comprehensive legal research utilizing Westlaw platforms.
- Experience drafting contracts and legal documents with attention to detail and adherence to procedural standards.
- Prior involvement in court depositions and trial preparation activities that showcase strong litigation skills.
- Familiarity with legal administrative processes to streamline workflow efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on client interaction and advocacy.
