Our thriving family and criminal law firm is looking to add an Associate Attorney position. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience preferably in family and/or criminal courts and enjoy the litigation aspect.

Candidate must be licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar.

If you are a motivated, self-starter looking to diligently work, but also maintain a schedule that makes it possible to prioritize family and community, then our Firm may be just the right place for you. We are a laid back law firm looking to find another attorney to help us grow. Our office is open 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday but we allow flexible work schedules around your personal calendar dependent on court events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Incentive based upon your billable hours allowing you to be in control of your earnings. We anticipate an income of at least $100,000/year for the first year with excellent growth potential as experience and productivity increases.

Experience:
Litigation: 2 years (Required)

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough legal research using Lexis-Nexis to support case preparation.
Draft legal documents and correspondence with precision, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
Manage your own case load and litigation processes, including preparing for trials and hearings.
Collaborate with clients to understand their legal needs and provide sound advice.
Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations pertinent to various practice areas.
Manage case files and maintain organized documentation within the law office.
