Overview:We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in trial, and supporting senior attorneys in various legal matters and providing high-quality legal representation to our clients.
Duties:
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law, statutes, and regulations.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
- Assist in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions.
- Attend client meetings and represent clients in negotiations and mediations.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategies and client management.
- Maintain accurate case files and documentation.
- Stay updated on legal developments and best practices in relevant areas of law.
- Participate in business development and client outreach initiatives.
Skills:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active bar admission in Louisiana.
- 3-5 years insurance defense experience.
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
