Description:

We are hiring a full time associate attorney to join our firm.

The primary responsibility of this attorney will be to handle our intake and new client calls. But, around that, they will also work with pre-litigation cases and as general support to our attorneys for cases that are in litigation.

This role is best suited for an attorney who is interested in learning the ins and outs of personal injury litigation as our vision is that this attorney can grow into eventually handling their own files.

This role may work for an entry level attorney or even an experienced attorney who is looking to scale back.

Necessary qualifications of the ideal candidate include:
  • Outgoing personality. Much of your time will be spent on the phone with potential clients. You should be comfortable and skilled with people.
  • Hungry. There is much to learn about this field. You should have a personality where that excites you. You also will get 50% of any business you bring to the firm. Are you someone who is going to chat up a bartender and give them your business card? You probably are hungry and would be great at this job.
  • Adaptable. We get it. We went to law school. But, many of our clients have real world problems they need us to solve now. You should not think you are "above" helping get clients on food stamps, navigating a traffic ticket, or listening to their struggles that may not have anything to do with a case.
  • You are Kind. We care about our clients. We take them seriously. We do not look at them as a means to make money. If you do not care about people, we are not a good fit.
  • You have Positive Energy. We have a positive work space built on positive energy. We all want to come into a job daily that brings us joy. Every member of our team needs to fit into that energy.

If you are an entry level attorney, you are a hard worker. There is no easy road to being a great attorney. Much of which you learned in law school isn't going to apply to what you do day-to-day at our firm. Our attorneys have a cumulative total of centuries of legal experience to instill on our associates and we are ready to devote our time to someone who is ready to learn. But, if you're looking for a 9-5, we are not the place for you.

If you are an experienced attorney who is looking to take a "step back" from the stressful warfare of a litigation practice, please send your resume as well. We can certainly have a conversation about whether this can be crafted as a 9-5.

The salary is very variable, and we offer competitive benefits.
