Koontz Law is growing, and we are ready to add another attorney to our team.We are seeking a full-time Associate Attorney who wants more than just a job processing files. This is an opportunity to step into an established practice, take meaningful responsibility for client matters, work directly with clients, and become an important part of a close-knit law firm.
Our ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership of their work. We value attorneys who communicate well, manage their time effectively, treat clients with respect, and are willing to become part of the team rather than simply occupy an office.
The Opportunity:
Koontz Law is a general practice firm serving clients in several areas of law, including:
- Family and domestic law
- Criminal law
- Traffic matters and DWI defense
- Estate planning
- Estate administration and probate
- Real estate
- We are open to attorneys with experience in any of these practice areas. A candidate does not need to come to the firm with experience in every area we handle.
We are particularly interested in finding an attorney who is willing to learn and develop across multiple areas of the firm's practice. Depending on the attorney's background, interests, and the needs of the firm, the position can include both matters in which the attorney already has experience and opportunities to expand into new practice areas.
We are open to both newly licensed attorneys and experienced attorneys.
For an experienced attorney, we are interested in building on the skills and knowledge you already bring to the firm. This is an opportunity to assume meaningful responsibility for an established caseload and become an important part of the future growth of the firm.
For a newer attorney, this is an opportunity to gain meaningful, hands-on experience in several areas of law while working alongside experienced attorneys and support staff.
Koontz Law already has an active and growing caseload. The associate will have the opportunity to work directly with clients, take responsibility for matters, appear in court when appropriate, and become increasingly independent as their experience develops.
