Description:
Knight MacKay Morrow is a civil defense firm that tries over a dozen cases to verdict each year. Trying a case to verdict requires a team of attorneys, from the partner to the associates, who are dedicated to providing the highest quality legal representation to their client available. Associates at Knight MacKay Morrow will write complex briefing, take depositions of experts and lay witnesses, advocate for the clients at oral argument, and go to trial.Your responsibilities as an associate would include:
- Providing civil defense for Fortune 500 companies in personal injury and toxic tort claims.
- Researching legal authority and writing briefs.
- Deposing key witnesses, conducting direct and cross-examinations of witnesses at trial, and handling oral arguments for motions before the Court.
- Closely collaborating with clients and developing creative trial themes
Requirements:
- License to practice law in Montana
- Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent writing skills
- Analytical skills
