Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including Family Law and Juvenile Law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills and the ability to conduct thorough legal research. The Associate Attorney will work collaboratively with senior attorneys to provide high-quality legal services to our clients while maintaining the highest ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in various legal matters.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide effective legal solutions.
- Assist in managing case files and ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Participate in client meetings and provide updates on case progress.
Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the state bar association is required.
- Previous experience in a law office setting is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
