Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various areas of law, including personal injury, litigation, and workers' compensation. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, proficiency in legal drafting, and the ability to conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients to provide legal guidance, represent them in litigation, and ensure compliance with applicable laws.

Duties:
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients in court proceedings and administrative hearings as needed.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide accurate legal advice.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and contribute to case strategy discussions.
  • Maintain organized case files and documentation for all client matters.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to explain legal processes and updates regarding their cases.

Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • Strong understanding of patent law, securities law, tribal law regulations, or related fields is preferred.
  • Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis is essential.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.
  • Strong writing skills with attention to detail in legal drafting.
  • Ability to litigate cases effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
